[Contents of instruction]
The course aims to provide students with the basic skills and basic educational techniques required for independent researchers in problem formulation (research design), implementation, data analysis, and thesis writing. In the field of epidemiology, students are taught the fundamentals and applications of epidemiological research design, statistics, and other research methods. In addition, students will be guided in literature reviews and the writing of papers, with the aim of publishing original papers in English. In the field of environmental medicine, students are taught basic and applied research methods for trace element measurements on living organisms, the environment, food, etc., according to the research topics they have chosen. In addition to research themes related to the above, individual consultation is available for the dissertation.
